On the page about Widor's Technique de l'orchestration moderne (https://imslp.org/wiki/Technique_de_l%2 ... les-Marie)), The general information in the bottom specifies "French" as the language of the file, it's not. It's English.

Your not understanding how workpages are setup, they are setup to the original setting of the work since the work was published originally in French. The file is independent of that info published in English of its own edition of the workpage itself.
