Transcription of baroque music

I made several transcriptions of baroque music, mostly from manuscripts I found on IMSLP and I would like to make them available on this site for other people. I am very confused as to what sort of copyright settings to apply
Also I sometimes extract parts from a score that I found on IMSLP or assemble a score from parts. I also would like to upload these files but again I have no idea what copyright issues are involved.
Is there anyone that could help me in that?
I really think this is a phantastic resource and I really would love to contribute to it.

If your sourcing from public domain sources, baroque era is already in the public domain, then you can upload it under a CC license or public domain dedicated.
