Louis Glass Symphony No. 1

I note that you finally have obtained the score to this fine work, however, you have slightly mislabeled the movements. The final movement, Allegro, has an Introduction marked Adagio.

Philipp Scharwenka Trio, Op. 105

The Trio (No. 1) in A minor for Violin, Viola, and Piano, Op. 105 is erroneously listed as a Duo for Violin and Viola.

Re: Remenyi's Violin Concerto

I just stumbled across this topic after researching Jewish composers. The last entry I saw was from about four years ago. I see that Jon Frohnen stated that the 2 violin concertos are "unavailable", and was wondering if anybody has done any research to see if this is still the case. Does &...

Louis Glass Violin Concerto

I see that we have the MS of the Violin Concerto in C Major by Louis Glass, but only in piano reduction. Is there a MS of the full score somewhere, or is that all there is?

Re: Tivadar Nachéz String Quartet/Violin Concertos

I see that the Nachéz (or is it Nachèz) violin concertos are indeed here (although the 1st is only in reduction.) Upon examining the score of the 2nd, I see that the 3rd movement is slightly mis-labeled. Although the movement opens with a cyclic recall of the opening Allegro appassionato from the fi...

Tivadar Nachéz String Quartet/Violin Concertos

I recently found a reference to this Hungarian violinist/composer, who was a product of the Franco-Belgian school (although he admired his countryman Joachim's playing), and a friend and favorite of Liszt. Although he is remembered for a couple of Gypsy Dances, which sometimes pop up as encore piece...

Maliszewski Symphony No. 4

In perusing some of the new uploads of Polish symphonies, I noted that the movements information on the links to the scores omits some information. The first movement of the Maliszewski Symphony No. 4 is "Lento - Allegro risoluto". The opening Lento is just an extended slow introduction to...

Noskowski Symphony No. 2

I noticed that there is some inaccuracy in the labeling of the movements on the likes on the new updates. The first movement should be "Moderato misterioso - Allegro molto", as the opening Moderato misterioso is but an introduction to the main body of the movement. Likewise, the finale S/B...

Re: Franz Clement Violin Concerto

Perhaps the full score of the D Major concerto is unobtainable here. It has apparently been published here: http://www.areditions.com/clement-violi ... -1805.html

Re: Greef, Arthur de - Piano Concerto 1&2

Presto Classical wouldn't always have the full information on a score. That's why it's so important to have the score available. I've often noticed that a label will only put the 'title' of a movement that has an actual tempo, i.e. 'Allegro' on a track listing, e.g. Mosonyi's Symphony No. 1, which h...

Re: Greef, Arthur de - Piano Concerto 1&2

Notenschreiber, the kind of tempo indication I'm talking about is Allegro, Vivace, Presto, Allegretto, etc.

Franz Clement Violin Concerto

I have noted that the violin concerto you have listed as the Violin Concerto in D Major (1805) is actually the D minor Concerto of 1810. Please correct this, and, while you're at it, try to get the D Major concerto. :D

I'm still waiting. Is there a title tempo for the scherzo, or is it just called "scherzo"?

Re: Greef, Arthur de - Piano Concerto 1&2

Does anyone have any information on the tempo indication of the 2nd movement Scherzo in the 1st concerto?
