Re: Tchaikovsky piano concerto 3
The Kalmus edition is a reprint of the 1954 Soviet collected edition of Tchaikovsky's works. You can find that Soviet edition, as well as Jurgenson's original 1895 edition, on IMSLP: https://imslp.org/wiki/Piano_Concerto_No.3%2C_Op.75_(Tchaikovsky%2C_Pyotr) Those scores only include the concerto's f...

Re: Tchaikovsky's romances for voice nowhere to bé found
IMSLP has all of Tchaikovsky's romances as they were written (in their original keys), but there were also transpositions issued by his publishers so that they could be performed by different vocal ranges. For example, his most famous song "None But the Lonely Heart" was written in D-flat ...

Re: Choral piece by C. Cui needs to be moved from Op. 85 page to Op. 77 page
Perhaps instead a note could be added to the file on the Op. 85 page that "Lastochka" actually belongs on Op. 77, but this is a mistake in the original edition, with another note on the Op. 77 page cross-referencing to it?

Re: Cadenzas with no attribution to original work
In that case I would suggest uploading it as a work by "Composer A" as a "Cadenza" (although if there are more than one, you will need to disambiguate them in the title, using the key/instrumentation, as appropriate).

Re: Category Page Creation? (+Tagging question)
The category pages used by the tagging system actually have to be manually created by an administrator. So far we've created 10160 categories for various work types and combinations of instruments, but whenever a previously unseen tag is added it has to be manually reviewed and registered on the sys...

Re: Uploading my singing-translation of "The Tale of Tsar Saltan"
Hello Lyle. Yes, that's the correct procedure, and if you include your name as the translator via the "LinkTr" template, it should automatically generate a link from your own category page. Just edit the page afterwards so that the file details include this line: |Translator={{LinkTr|Lyle ...

Re: How to create a collab page
There's an example of how to do this on this page, if you look at the source: https://imslp.org/index.php?title=Hexam%C3%A9ron,_S.392_(Liszt,_Franz) You just need to put the "Collab" template at the top, and the "CollabCat" categories at the bottom. You can choose any of the comp...

Re: 30 day tagging Marathon in July 2015!
Looks like there are over a thousand works with unknown tag errors that need fixing, so I'll start there. If you get the time to do any tagging that's great, but don't spread yourself too thin. It's all going to take months, not days or weeks.

I might be able to help out a little, even if it's just a couple of hours a week.

Re: Compositions vs. Collections
The collections category was originally introduced to deal with editions that contained multiple works which couldn't easily be split into their individual contents. The works in question could either be by the same composer, or many different composers. The definition of a 'work' has proved harder ...

Re: Gungl's Vanishing Works
I've been able to rescue the original file and move it to https://imslp.org/wiki/Kriegers_Lust%2C ... 2C_Joseph).
The issue was that you deleted Gungl's name from the title, which removed that page from his category. Very easy to get wrong, but not so easy to fix

Re: Petition to delete an old page that a friend of mine made for me
Even if you had successfully set up an account in Luis Eduardo Trajano's name, we would still require further information before deleting the page. This is probably best done privately, so I'd suggest emailing membership@imslp.org with your request.

Re: Petition to delete an old page that a friend of mine made for me
If new users don't answer the anti-spam questions satisfactorily, then they will be automatically blocked in order to protect the site from vandalism. Whatever name you used to set up the account, it wasn't Luís Eduardo Trajano, or the one you're using here, but if you tell me what it was then I'll ...
