Gounod "Messe pour les morts" - Vocal parts of unpublished parts

I am working on a typeset of Gounods "Messe pour les morts" ( https://imslp.org/wiki/Messe_br%C3%A8ve_pour_les_morts%2C_CG_78_(Gounod%2C_Charles) ). As he has never printed the Offertoire (consisting of "Domine Jesu Christe" and "Hostias et Preces") Gounod has written s...

Rossini: La Carità as part of 3 Choeurs religieux

The chorus work "La carità" ( https://imslp.org/wiki/La_carit%C3%A0_(Rossini%2C_Gioacchino) ) from Rossini is one of three chorus works originally composed for womens voices and piano. A work page for these three choruses already exists ( https://imslp.org/wiki/3_Ch%C5%93urs_religieux_(Ros...

Re: French handwriting transliteration

Many thanks! Every day some new things to learn...

For sure you may create a new workpage with the manuscript.

French handwriting transliteration

For a typesetting on an Cherubini manuscript I could need support to read his french handwriting. The manuscript is here: http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b53094557g/ . My previous readings of the lyrics are: 1. S'il en est qui veulent un maître, s'il est des vils et pervers, qu'ils aillent manc...

Re: Cherubini Madrigale a 4 voci

Hi Carolus, I can agree with you. However there are still the two different workpages with (partially) the same content. And they mean the same content: The manuscript of Cherubinis "Madrigale a 4 voci". I can see you opened a new workpage with the first line of the lyrics as titel: Ninfa ...

Cherubini Madrigale a 4 voci

Luigi Cherubinis work 'madrigale a 4 voci' http://imslp.org/wiki/Madrigale_a_4_voci_(Cherubini,_Luigi) exists on two different work pages. The second is the workpage with the first line of lyrics: http://imslp.org/wiki/Adite_lacrimosi_spiriti_d'averno_(Cherubini%2C_Luigi) I guess the best would be t...

Cherubini Kyrie et Pater noster

There is an existing workpage for Cherubinis Pater noster. However, this work is been reported by Grove as the second part of a composition "Kyrie et Pater noster". Hans Ternes reports the Kyrie only (Die Messen von Cherubini, Bonn 1980); Maurice Lynn White reports only the Pater noster (T...

Composers own arrangement of an opera excerpt

I wanna upload the work "Crux alma veneranda" from Luigi Cherubini, both manuscript and my typeset. This is an arrangement (almost a contrafactum, some flute, oboe and clarinet 32th-bars are missing) of a trio from his own opera 'Faniska" (2nd act). What shall I do: setup a new work p...

Re: Transliteration french manuscript

For the diligence and correctness of new edition I want you to doublecheck my readings compared to yours. My relevant suggestions are underlined and italics while your reading is behing in brackets. However I do not know whether or not my version make sense. :?: I would be glad to get a feedback. Qu...

Re: Transliteration french manuscript

I was not able to read all letters correctly in the manuscript. I also didn't find any lyrics source on the web. Due to my bad frech language knowledge this may result in wrong words which don't even exist. What I need is a correct lyrics as written in manuscript in french with readable letters. I t...

Transliteration french manuscript

While working on a typset edition of an unpublished Work of Théodore Dubois I struggle with some correct readings. So I would be glad to get a correct transliteration of the lyrics of the linked piece.

Neue Bach Ausgabe some broken links

The Links for IMSLP #466349 (http://imslp.eu/files/imglnks/euimg/0/0 ... I,11.1.pdf) and #467333 (http://imslp.eu/files/imglnks/euimg/f/f ... I,11.2.pdf) are broken. I was lead to an 404 error site.
Thanks for any support.
