We don't delete files due to authors requesting to have them removed because they regret submitting them and want to revoke a license. We have the right and ability to remove files if they are useless garbage. There is a difference.

Even if first published in 1973, the piece itself cannot be copyrighted in the United States unless that publication was made under the authority of Mercadante's heirs.
