Re: Wrong J. C. Bach on Aria Eberliniana
Given IMSLP lists the VIAF link for composers, the VIAF entry for Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) here https://viaf.org/en/viaf/277822#Bach,_Johann_Christoph,_1671-1721 also list "Aria Eberliniana pro Dormente Camillo, Variata" per RISM as one of his compositions in the "Works"...

Wrong J. C. Bach on Aria Eberliniana
The work page for Aria Eberliniana pro dormante Camillo, variata ( https://imslp.org/wiki/Aria_Eberliniana_pro_dormante_Camillo%2C_variata_(Bach%2C_Johann_Christoph) ) has the wrong Johann Christoph Bach connected as composer. The current attached composer is the Eisenach organist Johann Christoph B...

Re: Problems with Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) data
As noted above, I was able to get J. C. Bach (1671-1721) connected as copyist to two manuscripts but I only see that info displayed when I'm logged on to IMSLP. They don't show when I go to J. C. Bach (1671-1721)'s record when I'm not logged in, which means no one else sees that info unless they, to...

Re: Problems with Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) data
Thanks for the disambiguation tag info--it worked, after I found that Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) was in the IMSLP Bach Family tree with one category as Dedicatee here https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Bach_@organist%5E,_Johann_Christoph I was able to connect him to the two manuscripts he is not...

Re: Problems with Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) data
Have found the following on J. C. Bach (1671-1721) compositions in MGG (German text to English per Google Translate): Although J. C. Bach is referred to as "optimus artifex" in his burial entry, it is not clear whether he also emerged as a composer. As first considered by H.-J. Schulze (19...

Re: Problems with Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) data
Thanks, Sallen112 ! It looks like IMSLP uses Wikipedia as a chief reference source. As seen in it's disambiguation page, there is an occupation for J. C. Bach (1671-172) as follows: Johann Christoph Bach (organist at Ohrdruf) (1671–1721) The challenge is, Wikipedia gave no occupation for the older f...

Problems with Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) data
Brand new to the forum... Johann Sebastian Bach's eldest brother Johann Christoph Bach (1671-1721) doesn't appear to have his own page in IMSLP. I've searched multiple ways and only find a page for Johann Christoph Bach (1642-1703) who is Johann Sebastian Bach's first cousin once removed per Wikiped...
