Re: Domenico Scarlatti Sonates (Heugel) Volume 1 no longer available
The problem does just exist if not logged in (e.g. no IMSLP user). As far as I see every score on the EU server I've uploaded shows this problem.

Domenico Scarlatti Sonates (Heugel) Volume 1 no longer available
Can anybody help? The file "PMLP506809-Scarlatti, Domenico-Sonates Heugel 32.645 Volume 1.pdf" seems to be not available although my upload was from 2014 and there where no new versions uploaded.

Re: LISZT Der nächtliche Zug
I left the score from BSB with the missing pages untouched and added my own scan of the score which has all pages.
Just have a look at the first document named "1. Der nächtliche Zug (S.110/1) (scan)".

Re: Reneicke, Beethoven Trios - Clarinet Parts
For the Beethoven Trio Op.38 I uploaded the scans from the Beethoven Werke (Breitkopf). They should be much better than the first edition scans.
Have fun!

Re: LISZT Der nächtliche Zug
I've just scanned and uploaded the score. This one includes the correct pages 20 and 21. It seems like something went wrong at the scanning service at BSB, and I didn't check every page when I resized and uploaded them in 2010.

Re: My scans don't get copyright checked any more
Thanks to all of you for your fast and very kind reactions!!! And please, I agree to what steltz is writing here and I don't want to blame anybody. You are all doing a great job for the site!!!!!!! I've just wondered why we had many new scores each day but none of my scans. Sorry if I've been to rud...

My scans don't get copyright checked any more
Hi,
I wonder why my last uploaded scans seem to get no longer copyright checked. The oldest unchecked upload I did 9 days ago(!!!). As I can see many new uploads being checked every day, I can't understand why my scans don't.
Thanks in advance

Re: Beethoven-Haus scans
Now I scanned the whole score (Op.33) in 300dpi color and uploaded it.
Maybe the 600dpi color could also be scanned and uploaded with higher jpg compression levels. Better would be in DJVU format of course.

Re: Beethoven-Haus scans
At least with the "Bagatellen Op.33" I can help, as I own a copy of the first edition (Wien: Bureau des Arts et d'Industrie, Plate 171). I started to scan it in color, because the monochrome scan shows to much dirt. I scaned in 600dpi wich gives about 40MB sized jpg's. When I convert to 30...

Re: Quality of score rating
Thank you very much both of you!!! I believe you are right with all your ideas. But it's deeply regrettable that thus the ratings have no meaning at all. It would be nice to have a chance to find or identify good/perfect printable scores easily. And, as for myself, it would be nice to have my work a...

Quality of score rating
Sometimes, when I look at the ratings of some scores I wonder, if we should explain a little bit, how one can see the quality of a scan (say not look at the screen resolution quality of a color scan - what is 1000 color pixels worth if you want to print it out - but perhaps zoom into the score or pr...

Re: A3 scanner. Any suggestions?
I'm not quite shure, if you bought an A3 scanner already. I use a Brother MFC-6890CDW printer/scanner/fax combination since half a year and realy like it. At the beginning of this year it had also been extremly cheap in Germany (less than 200 Euro instead of the 600 Euro official Brother price). The...

Re: High Quality Scanning
There's nothing more aggravating and counterproductive than fighting with one's own equipment. But still it's not only the scanner, but you are faster than me. Yes you're right, I also don't like poor equipment, but the next I would invest in was a A3+ printer to get fine big sized printouts that I...

Re: High Quality Scanning
I would say that 300 dpi is really enough for A4 scores, except for full scores with notes too small. For these, as well as for A5 scores 600 dpi is enough. Bigger resolutions do not, in fact, enhance the quality of the scan - technically. I use the 4990 Epson scanner with automatic paper feeding. ...
