My files are downloadable for free now, without any need for registration and without any advertising on my page. They stated, it had been a failure in the program which caused the blocking of my files ... Anyhow, as is it is now, it seems ok. Nikolas, your Sheetmusicarchive page seems to be already...

Thank you, Nikolas, for bringing this up. I've found myself there, too (http://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/single ... ser_id=196), and sent an email immediately.

what I would like are scores that look and feel nice, and are nicely bound Oh yes, I've almost forgotten how that feels ... Obviously I'm used too much to first flying then taped sheets of paper, aching for the ultimate, eye-friendly e-paper reading device ;-) 2. It is always to you advantage to ha...

I have to answer this. @Yagan I might have been carried away a little bit, sorry for that. It's just, when instead of getting objective answers I get morals on me, I start feeling like being in church. @Leonard I hold my scores valuable enough to equal the services of hosting, providing a content ma...

Speaking purely from a technical legal standpoint, the ads does not actually make the distribution of those files commercial. The non-commercial clause is directed specifically at the selling of the file itself. In other words, it is only commercial when we start charging a fee for the right to acc...

Dear Edward, respectively IMSLP board, thank you for the good news that IMSLP will change from an informal non-profit organisation to an incorporated one. It will be a more solid ground especially for financial operations. Despite the fact that people won't have to click an Amazon link to get a scor...

Work page vanished from composer page
I've uploaded two additional files to this work page using the mutliple-file upload. I forgot to check the box "Force one file per entry" so I separated the files manually. Now the work page has vanished from the composer page . What did I do wrong? Did I breach the 15 files per work page ...

Composers want IMSLP back.
It cannot be said to often: Yes, Witold, composers want IMSLP back. Composers want IMSLP back. Composers want IMSLP back. Three times, maybe it has some charming effect. Not of accelerating IMSLP's comeback (that would do no good, I agree with Feldmahler's statement in his open letter) but of streng...

A fine advice. There are still some sad-school-managers around who prefer hindering to helping. In this case, though, even the hindering will help. IMSLP that is. But at what costs, indeed. I would really love to see IMSLP and UE (and/or other publishers) cooperate the way you explained above (as su...

No need to hate the disease
I would like to express my gratitude to Feldmahler and the staff for hosting my works on IMSLP and for having bothered themselves so elaboratively with my special legal situation back then. UE's letter seems to be the inevitable virus needed to trigger a disease that leads to a transformation into a...

[BUG] Some signs not allowed in PDF files?
Hi, I've successfully uploaded the file JI_Vorspiel_21+perc.pdf on this workpage but the server can't find it. It shows the naming "JI Vorspiel 21 perc.pdf" instead. (It's a re-upload that overwrote the original file with the same name. I didn't check if the file was downloadable after the...
