Re: Incorrect Attribution
Many thanks, Carolus, for your careful elucidation. I should have been more precise in describing my initial reaction to seeing the listing, which was, essentially, "what led to this contribution being listed as by Schoenberg rather than by Brahms, since it is highly unlikely that the Schoenber...

Incorrect Attribution
I see the following in the list of recently added scores: Schoenberg: Piano Quartet No. 1 (#103211).
Shouldn't the composer be Brahms?

The Nocturne is still in the Enoch & Cie catalogue. Presser is supposed to be Enoch's U.S. distributor, although the Nocturne does not show up on the Presser site. Elkinmusic.com might be helpful, as Enoch & Cie is on Elkin's list of foreign publishers...

Re: How to Edit Work's Title On Composer's Page
I'm most grateful for the responses, and more than a little embarrassed at my inattentiveness. I ignored the cover page, saw "primo" and "secondo" and, based on earlier disappointments, jumped to an unwarranted conclusion without further examination. Many thanks, as 2 piano is th...

How to Edit Work's Title On Composer's Page
I've noticed that a piano work for four hands occasionally gets categorized as one for two pianos. To wit, Carl Reinecke's "2 Sonatas for 2 Pianos, Op. 275", which the PDF files reveal to be a work for piano duet (4 hands). How does one go about correcting this (my attempts, at first appar...
