Re: Gina by Francesco Cilea in vocal score
The U. S. distributor is Theodore Presser, and Presser's catalog number for that item is actually 511-01121.

Re: Why is IMSLP deviating from normal practice of writing Opus numbers?
I asked this same question several (or more) years ago; the answer: no space between Op. and the number in order to keep the two parts together on one line, rather than have them separated because of a line break.

Re: arranging of Dover Public Domain Score
So far as I know, most Dover scores are public domain, and the original source files are indicated on a page before the music starts. The Rossini (overture?) should almost certainly be public domain.

Re: Recommendations for impressionistic etc. String quartets
"Impressionistic" can be a rather loose term, as a cursory scanning of web links will quickly reveal. Since it sounds as though you are first concerned with hearing rather than playing the music, I would recommend listening to the quartets of Janacek (IMSLP files), Delius (IMSLP score), Jo...

Re: a few errors in a score of JCF Fischer
I've just looked at both of the scores you reference. Unless I have missed something, measure 7 in both versions do indeed have E-flat in the right hand on beat 3. I see what you mean about the note alignment in the other bars, but both documents show the same peculiarity. Perhaps the later contribu...

Re: A question about queues for transposing instruments
An excellent question! Responding as a composer, I would insert the cues as you suggest, in the appropriately transposed score of the particular instrument.
(I believe "queue" refers to a line of people waiting for something, as opposed to the "cue" of musical terminology.)

Re: Bruckner Virga Jesse Bar 70
I misunderstood your original post as to the placement of the sharp in bar 70, and you are quite correct: each of the non-manuscript scores is missing that G-sharp. Excellent catch on your part...
