difficult categorization.
i think in general early baroque is stylistically more similar to the late renaissance than to high baroque. the later had more rigidity in texture.

I suspect vexations1960 has a scan of the complete original score. I have asked if he has the a scan of the complete manuscript, waiting for reply.

i guess the republisher of the work would have to actually prove that you derived your work from theirs and not some earlier publication. unfortunately without having access to those earlier publications for comparison you wouldn't know what you are in for. it may also be a perverse incentive for ed...
