Establish Consistent Naming Format
While the IMSLP is pretty good in this regard, there's still room for improvement: it would vastly help with searches, organization, and clean appearance if an absolute standard was set for how to name scores, and if searching could be modified to be a little smarter. For example, consider the follo...

OK Leonard, fair enough. You were cool, I wasn't really talking about you. I guess I was just sensing some hostility over this and I am trying to say that I don't think Josef is being a bad guy, and that I sympathize with his position. Actually reading over the conversation it was a little bit less ...

I'm sorry, but I don't think there's anything wrong with Josef's request. He is not comfortable having his music associated with advertising even though he agrees with the basic goals of IMSLP. He has been polite and it was his contribution to the IMSLP in the first place that he now wants taken off...

Awesome
Just wanna say awesome, congratulations, I'm happy for everybody. I'm very excited. And again reiterate my respect for Feldmahler through all of this, and my apologies for some undue haranguing I threw out there a long time ago.

More thoughts
It's been a while since I posted a message a while ago that was somewhat critical of the situation. I responded a few times to try to explain my position more fully, but after having had a good deal of time to think about it, I'd like to quickly explain why I said what I did - to get my perspective ...

I would like to say one more thing. I was too harsh in my first post. I don't really have an excuse except the frustration at IMSLP being gone for so long, and the fact that I hadn't said anything up to this point meant that everything came out in one burst. Upon reconsideration, and especially in t...

Re: I did not insult you and...
After re-reading your last response I've decided to edit my own response a bit. I certainly don't appreciate the implication that it is "leeching" to download things off IMSLP when I helped promote it, edit it (admittedly, only in my own small way), and wrote to UE to urge them to change t...

I'm very disappointed in the lack of substantive updates to IMSLP, even to the Wiki information page. I feel that this is too valuable a resource for Feldmahler to just allow to remain unfulfilled. While it may have been his idea originally, it's a major disservice to many people and institutions th...

Hi there. While I'm relatively new here (I've really only known the site for a couple of months), I have already fallen in love with the site and recommended it to at least a dozen people. Being a piano teacher, the most useful resource here has been the ever-growing mountain of awesome piano music,...
