Re: "Enter parameters" message

Why is it unworthy of a site used by adults, William? It's also used by kids, and it's rare to get the message.

Re: Full Slovak localisation

What exactly do you have in mind? You can help with translation if you want without needing the rights to edit the side bar and main page.

Re: Forum Rules

Thank you for agreeing with my initial position, pjones235 :-) But in reality, I was just playing devil's advocate. I don't really care too much. Maybe we can reach a compromise.

Re: Unscheduled downtime now?

Looks like it. Hopefully it is remedied within the next few hours so I can clean up some things. What else will I do with my night! :?

EDIT: As it turns out, the other addresses still work:

Re: Unscheduled downtime now?

I'm not able to access the wiki either. I'm using Google Chrome and get the following message:

"Oops! Google Chrome could not find imslp.org"

Re: Revueltas

The list is now finished: http://imslp.org/wiki/Sortable_list_of_works_by_Silvestre_Revueltas And includes all arrangements and compositions by Revueltas. I no longer think it is premature to redirect the work page accordingly. I'm sure Davydov is having an epic Picard face palm moment: http://www.y...

Re: Revueltas

@ Steltz - Who said the list isn't complete? The thing that was missing were the arrangements, and most were recently included. Sensemayá, for example, is R.46, 64 since it was written twice: once with a chamber group (Flute, clarinet in E ♭, clarinet in B♭, bass clarinet, bassoon, 2 trumpets, tromb...

Re: Category:Shostakovich, Dmitri …

They aren't empty per se, they have information. What's wrong with having worklists for composers not in the public domain? It doesn't take up too much server space and they are not listed in the list of composers. In fact ,they should be listed separately so people don't unknowingly open pages that...

Re: Category:Shostakovich, Dmitri …

In actuality, the idea was not limited to just these already existing composers. My argument is actually against the notion of not having "empty pages". Even for composers not in the public domain, I still feel it would be incredibly useful to have worklists, recording references, etc. And...

Re: Category:Shostakovich, Dmitri …

Hm... I know think I notice my previous forum post was a bit terse in nature :) Sorry PML. You're right and I agree with 100% of what you said now that I've had dinner. It was actually a bad idea that I shouldn't have brought up at all (and I have no excuse), and I apologize for mentioning it. I see...

Re: Category:Shostakovich, Dmitri …

I'll keep this very concise: If users want to violate copyright law, they will find a way. We have hundreds of composers not listed as non-PD composers for whom users can simply make composer pages. The reason I unprotected the page was to allow an influx of information about the composers as per Ke...

Re: New Main Page full redesign project

Look, the current main page needs a lot of work. It's sloppy, the colors don't complement each other, and it looks like a colorblind first grader made it. Sorry Leonard, it was probably not this way when you designed it and had the conception in mind. However, that is exactly what it has become. EDI...

Re: Emil kross, violinschool

Good idea! It would be great to have the violin school.

However, it is never a good idea to use a certain edition of something! As Josef Hoffmann once said, "I use my own edition of everything".
