I have told so many of my students and colleagues about IMSLP and am truly saddened to learn the site is closed. There is no other site in the cosmos that offered the resources of IMSLP. I have used the University of Rochester site and rowy.net. I recently found www.4shared.com, but you have to know...

Why is there so much posting of lieder? That is so ridiculous... it's available in every university library, and I don't know why you're even accepting these uploads.... All the good stuff is coming from MIT and other sites where most of us don't have access... please stop with the lieder... Thank y...

I would like to know how to access the MIT archives. I have tried in the past and it seems that access to the music archive is restricted to MIT people only. I noticed a lot of the music on IMSLP is coming from the MIT music archive, so I presume one of our members has access. I just wanted clarific...
