Just add them on the workpages for now, they will show up as a unknown tag. One of the more experienced category taggers will add the category to the Mediawiki tag list page at some point and then it should change to being a legitimate category listing.

Is there a date anywhere on the edition your talking about? A composer who died in 1985 in not public domain in Taiwan but if the piece is first published in 1918, we can accept it on the USA Server instead.

If you have the time, I would look into doing a sortable list structure for the list of works pages as that is the most versatile, or there is just the plaintext list that isn't sortable as well we do have for workpages.
