Hi all,
From time to time I come across "ICS" catalogue numbers. (Today I'm looking at Carl Stamitz Duos.)
What means "ICS"? What institution gives these numbers?
(I couldn't find anything about that on the IMSLP:FAQ page.)
Thanks!
Pierre.

Here is the Tyson catalogue:
https://archive.org/details/ClementiCatalogueOfWorks
Hopefully it is thematic one, but it is clear that numbering confusion in the various editions is complete.

Re: Suggestion: Addition of a category for "Works dedicated to [name]"
Hi all,
It would be nice to set up a bot that could do the replacement of every "Dedication={{LinkComp|" and "Dedication={{LinkName|" by "Dedication={{LinkDed|"

Re: For identifying this Abt work before upload
Hi Eric,
I think I just found evidence that Abt's "I think of thee" arrangement at LoC, you were talking about, is indeed Op. 213/1 "Ich denke dein"...
It is No.24 in this incipit list.
BTW, the theme is also in Arban's Cornet Method (No.54 of ''The Art of Phrasing'').

This work is tagged as "for soprano..."; but in the score, the voice is written in Bass clef.
If it is the first edition, should'nt it be "for bass..." ?

Bach's Chorale Harmonisations
Compilations of Bach's chorale harmonisations began in the 18th cent.; three (main) numberings are in use today: * The "371" originating in C.P.E. Bach's publication; * The "389" from the 1912 Richter edition; * The BWV numbering, which may seem more logical when refering to the ...

ArtLibre Licence
I think this deserves to find its way here, but I'm confused because the page contains references to both a CC licence, and the "Free Art" licence.
What is the correct behaviour here, regarding to these licences?

Re: No deletion of files released under CC licence?
Some thoughts about and around this question... In my country an author is not only considered as a copyright owner, but also the legal owner of 'moral rights' on his works − one of them being the 'right of removal', and though the usage of this right is not common, the author can remove one of this...

Tafellied,_Op.93b_(Brahms,_Johannes)
http://imslp.org/wiki/Tafellied,_Op.93b_(Brahms,_Johannes) To be re-tagged (not for female chorus, but for SSATTB chorus +piano.) Do we have some kind of simple "Ask for re-tagging" tag, that we humble mortals could simply add to a work page, rather than writing here − and that could easi...

Re: Mediawiki Score Extension.
How wonderful! Thank you! Just one thought: prior to today the |Incipit= field was used for ''text'' incipits; maybe it is not the best thing to do to fill it with ''musical'' incipits. Is it possible to create something like a |Musical or a |Thematic Incipit? And/or to rename all previous |Incipits...

Re: Mediawiki Score Extension.
Hi all, I was about to ask for the same thing: I would love to be able to put a few notes in the wiki pages, especially in those beginning by "List of works by..." Thematical catalogues are so superior to simple catalogues! Personally, I'd like to work on this one: http://imslp.org/wiki/Ta...
