Arrangements vs. parts
Since I've often seen the piano solo parts to concertos uploaded here as though they were "piano arrangements", I'd just like to recommend comparing piano solo parts with actual arrangements like, say, Beethoven symphonies as arranged by Liszt (his arrangements as a general thing include s...

Re: John Field, sonata 2, 3, and 4
may I interject with some alternatives? I'm fairly sure that the other sonatas were published -somewhere- else in the 19th century... the Anna Amalia Bibliothek has a Kühnel publication (ca.1810) of no.2 (not digitized at this time but maybe they will?), no.3 in C minor is @ these libraries e.g., .....

Re: Elfenlied - Six songs : op. 22 Alexander Zemlinsky
According to Beaumont, the cycle of six was first performed in full in 1935 with piano (Julia Nessy/Alexander von Zemlinsky), Kleine Musikvereinsaal, Vienna. He gives 1978 for publication date. (Beaumont, Zemlinsky, pp.442-43.)

Re: Elfenlied - Six songs : op. 22 Alexander Zemlinsky
According to Schott, the librettists of Op.22 (1934) are Goethe and Morgenstern, so that at least shouldn't be an issue; maybe it really is PD-EU...

Re: Elfenlied - Six songs : op. 22 Alexander Zemlinsky
since publication in the legal sense in question also involves public performance, I -think- we would also have to show that no public performance of the op.22 songs took place prior to 1977, but I'm not sure. (Or maybe the existence of such a performance would make the matter even easier. I get con...

Re: Elfenlied - Six songs : op. 22 Alexander Zemlinsky
The thing about Under copyright is "under copyright where"... the problem with the Zemlinsky Op.22 set isn't that Zemlinsky the composer used to be under copyright in the European Union and now isn't, it's that the Op.22 songs were first published in 1977, so it's probably under copyright ...

Possibly very serious bug?
I pressed “open in IMSLP” app from a imslp page on my iPhone 6 (iOS 13.6.1) and managed to basically cause bouncing from Safari to the app and back etc. I tried closing the responsible tabs and quitting both apps but eventually had to restart my phone. This has only happened once so far, and I forge...

Re: Naxos Music Library
...not sure whether this is something Naxos or we have to do with... The open circle is a very neat idea, allowing access to, in some (not all) cases access to all works on a recording that we have NML pages/recordings of (so if we have a link on one Scarlatti sonata page to a collection CD set of S...

hrm. ok. I should say it connects then throws up errors that block me out after a search or three.
Worldcat
This is not a IMSLP or even specifically a music issue, but I'm guessing that a lot of people, like me, use Worldcat.org for assorted music-related purposes. Today I can only connect to it with my browser's incognito function - which makes me wonder if it's blocking me specifically or is anyone else...

Re: Naxos Music Library
also, if you're in the EU or somewhere with similarly life+70 copyright rules, Naxos may be paying more attention just as it's begun restricting access to recordings of (for example) Haydn symphonies (and other works of course) not first published in the US before 1925 (etc etc) for people with acce...

Re: Vladigerov violin concerto in F minor Op.11
I find no evidence offhand that it was published in full score in 1922. A document -from 1922- indicating such publication would be nice.. I checked Worldcat as another way but all library held pre-Höflich copies, even the Soviet era ones that have the 2nd concerto Op.60 too, are reductions. That a ...

Re: Naxos Music Library
It is still getting updated though, disks- released from no less than 1/2 to a year ago generally- do get added to appropriate workpages in a somewhat unpredictable way.
