Sortable lists of works

Post by Davydov »

Hello everyone. I'm trying out a new type of worklist that can be sorted by title, opus, catalogue numbers, genres, etc. and would appreciate your opinions. One for Dvořák‎ can now be seen at:

I'm using the Wikisort table layout, but the table itself has to be written in HTML, as the standard Wikimedia tables aren't flexible enough in their formatting. Although the page is quite long the sorting seems to be quite fast, but I'd be interested to hear if you find issues with certain browsers, etc...

From what I've seen of the html coding for the table, I haven't noticed anything so far that shouldn't be impossible to implement using wiki formatting. Also, some time ago I brought over from Wikipedia a useful template to hide text {{hs}}, which effectively works around the issue of making numerical or other table lists order correctly: again, see the discussion page for the Dvorak list.
