Why is there no message from IMSLP, concerning the actual problems?
Well, I only found out that the server was down 20 minutes before my plane flight (technically I'm supposed to be on vacation this week), and even now I don't have access to a computer, so the recovery result is actually very good. I'll post more details about the incident later tonight or tomorrow.
In any case, the recovery is complete and there should be no major lingering problems (though the server may be a bit slow for a day or two).
