Let's make an on line petition!

Dear all,

I am only an IMSLP user (new to the forum, just discovered the site one month ago...). UE attitude is nauseating: are they going to publish Joseph Marx in the next years? I will boycott UE starting from NOW, and I will
strongly invite other people to do this!

Feldmahler: you did an excellent job, don't be sad and don't surrender. Here in Italy we perfectly know this kind of frustration in our relationship with "power"...

Why don't we make an online petition? I think that we should not loose an "occasion" like this in order to point out a disgusting attitude by UE and
the absurd role of copyright rules in such matters.

What about UE *prices* for music they are only able to print and send
to sellers?

Just my two cents

I think, if we "rumble" too much, the UE will check the IPs of the users and the one or other will get some trouble. Therefor we should be cool and think about other possibilities, which save the copyright.

Careful. That does not help IMSLP's cause. On the other hand, that will just fire them up and hit us with what they've got. Plus, if they somehow get hold of your IP, rest assured you'll get a legal letter of some sort.

I hope this is one of those jokes. DoS is a crime in several countries.

Half of me wishes we could, however IMSLP will be stuck in its current situation for ever if that happens.
