An edition of the Italian Concerto
I have found this russian edition of the Italian Concerto of J.S. Bach.

I don't know which one it is. I know this is not the edition by Egon Petri. I already have this one, and it is very different. Maybe a reprint of the Czerny edition ? I don't know it, so I can't compare. Does anyone know this russian edition ?

Re: An edition of the Italian Concerto
It's a fairly late Muzyka edition. It mentioned the NBA, which means that it dates from the 1960s at earliest. From the look of it I would guess it was done in the 1980s.

Thank you for the informations.
Does music publisher Muzyka (Moscow) have a website so I can I can search through the catalogue ?

They're defunct. They were the Soviet State Music Publisher.
However, IMSLP has a page called "Muzgiz" which should help somewhat.

I already posted it, BTW.

Thank you. I found this. This only recent russian edition I have found on the web.

Could it be this edition ?

audunsji,
thank you for this link. Despite my unknownlesge of russian language, I have made a search in the catalogue. I have not found any edition of the Italian concerto. But I think I have misused the search function, because I have found few Bach works, only 11 volumes. That's very few. Here are the result of my search :

Maybe this edition we are looking for is already out of print. But that would be rather strange, because it is pretty recent.

Re: An edition of the Italian Concerto
I don't have time at the moment to help you explore it. But I would guess that most of the old catalouge is out of print. Some of it I know was transfered to the publisher "Kompozitor". But that was mostly the works by soviet composers or older russian editions of russian music. I don't think you will find much by Bach there: http://www.idk.su/innot.htm
This one is in english as well however

Re: An edition of the Italian Concerto
So, let's make an hypothesis. The edition I have uploaded on rapidshare may be an Muzyka engraving of the 80's. Carolus said this. But I would guess that most of the old catalouge is out of print. Some of it I know was transfered to the publisher "Kompozitor".
And this one
http://www.amazon.com/Clavierubung-Ital ... 882&sr=1-1
may be a reprint of the edition by Kompozitor. Do you think this would be possible ?

Re: An edition of the Italian Concerto
Entirely possible. The folks at Kompozitor would have ready access to a large number of Muzyka issues, and would certainly reprint them. Copyright law seems to be very much of a theoretical concept in Russia, given what I've seen on Tarakanov's site.
Re: An edition of the Italian Concerto
Then, I guess it is possible also for this one too.
"French Overture" Muzyka file
