Copyright Review: Histoire de Babar (Poulenc) - Arrangements by John Clarke

Post by emida33 »

Hello,

I would like to check the status of the arrangements for Histoire de Babar le petit éléphant, FP 129 by Francis Poulenc, specifically the files uploaded by arranger John Clarke, which have been pending review for over a week.

Here is the link to the work page: https://imslp.org/wiki/Histoire_de_Baba ... C_Francis)

Could you please clarify if these files will be accessible under Canadian copyright law, or if they are restricted due to the arranger's copyright status?

Thank you very much for your time and volunteer work!

All these files cannot be accepted until the copyright status of the translator of the French text into English, Manda Joyce, is established. A request for such information was posted on John Clarke's discussion page here, but no reply was ever received.

If you have the information in this regard, please let us know!

Regards,
