This piece was composed by Pedro Pablo Traversari Salazar (1874-1956) with lyrics of Manuel Benjamín Carrión Mora (1897-1979).
Traversari will be in PD this year, as he died 70 years ago, the 6th of july of 1956; but Carrión died in 1979. Apparently this piece was composed in 1919, before the month of may. So that means that it can be elegible for PML-Asia?

If you can provide evidence that the piece was first
published (
not performed!) in 1930 or earlier, then you may upload it to PML-
US. Otherwise,
you may only upload instrumental versions of this piece (without lyrics) until the librettist's copyright has expired in Taiwan in 2030, as stated in
the IMSLP information page about the public domain:
When the authorship is separable, then the works may be separated from one another. For instance, it is OK in Canada to post an instrumental version of a piece if the composer's copyright has expired, but the librettist's copyright has not expired, since the lyrics are separable from the music.

Ok, acording to the manuscript that piece was performed in 1919, so possibly it was composed before may of 1919. That's not sufficient?
I have no proofs that this piece was published, most pieces by Traversari (actually, by most ecuadorian composers) wasn't published as the cost of that were gianormous and the benefits were very low. In this page (
https://bibliografiamusicalecuatorianae ... press.com/) there isn't a mention about this piece, here are featured the most known musical publications, manuscripts and books. Also, there isn't available any modern interpretations available. Is something rare, but I'll continue searching more info.

I found another score in the same source (SIPCE) but apparently is another scan of the same score; appart from that, the system doesn't gives much more information about the piece and one of the files even has registered the piece as being only of Benjamín Carrión.

I have a question, can I make a transcription for solo piano and then upload it on the Taiwan server?
As I told before, the piece was first performed on May of 1919 so then it was composed before that date, and I know that doesn't matter but also I haven't found more info about a publication or if this piece was performed later, I also didn't found anything on BIMEL, where I search for ecuadorian music publications .
