chant sans paroles - Tchaikowsky/Robert Stark

Post by tilmaen »

Hi!

i found this great piece in our local library: "Chant Sans Paroles" "Lied ohne Worte" by P. Tschaikowsky. Edited for A Clarinet by (Für A Klarinette Eingerichtet von) Robert Stark. Robert Stark. Accordling to Juilcat he lived from 1847-1922.
On the pages it doesn't show any Copyright information - all i can find is the plate number C.F.S. 1071/2 (C.F. Schmidt, Heilbronn a/N). is there another way of finding out when this piece was released other than checking worldcat, sheetmusic plus, juilcat, the score itself, google and the local music stores?

On the Piano part the plate number is C.F.S. 85.86.87.

thanks

I expect it is public domain worldwide. It certainly is in the USA and Canada.

Uh, this piece needs to be placed under the correct opus as a transcription/arrangement. It shouldn't be on a work page by itself.
