Just uploaded the quintet for piano and winds op.2 bu N.H. Rice from sibley. Printed 1898 by N.Simrock, with an dedication to his teacher Iwan Knorr. So he may have been in his 20's then.
Nothing about N.H.Rice anywhere, but a reedition by Ed. Compusic (1991) may suggest, that this work is public domain in the Netherlands and other 70 year countries. Anybody with access to this compusic edition able to add anything?
Boosey & Hawkes have registered the work with GEMA in germany, but it is out of print for decades.
