Hi. I was looking for Mahler's 2nd symphony vocal score and, given the fact that no edition is uploaded here, bought it. I'd like to scan it and share it. But I need some copyright information. The edition I bought is by LudwigMasters. Is "edited" by some Howard K Wolf and the english translation is by Adele Funk. The year printed on the score is 2005. I suspect that this is an old edition. Or at least, an old piano reduction.
So, can I scan it? What do you think?
Should I erase editorial markings, translation, etc?
Regards,
F.

Re: Mahler 2- Vocal Score
Addie (or Adele) Funk seems to have stopped putting out anything new after 1927, so her translation is probably OK. As for the Kalmus vocal scores of Mahler, they have issued a number of new engravings in the 2000s, some edited by Wolf, so I would be reluctant to recommend you upload this since it's less than 25 years old. It could be an edited reprint of the UE score, but you would need to have the old UE score to check.

It seems it's a new engraving. Pity...
