The edition of Forest Scenes contains fingerings by Thomas Dunhill (1877-1946) and thus is not PD in the EU. The reprint seems to have removed this information which is at the top of the first page in the original Augener printing.

Also the data from IMDBP suggests this was the first edition - I am pretty sure from Grove that it was first published in 1907

Thanks for providing this info. We've re-tagged the item accordingly. If you can confirm that the first edition was in 1907 - which is certainly possible - by all means correct the IMDBP page as well. It would make sense that Augener might have re-issued the piece after the composer's death in an edition due to the fact that they were rather sloppy about making sure their publications appeared with the proper notice for copyright protection in the USA. The new edition by Dunhill would have provided an opportunity to protect the new edition in the hope that few copies of the original made it to the USA.
