Schubert D759 Sitt transcription - corrected part

Post by aldona »

OK, I have uploaded the corrected version of the violin part for the Sitt transcription of Schubert's Unfinished Symphony.
Could I please ask one of the mods to delete the previous scan (which had the final page missing) and put everything in its correct place?

Thanking you muchly in anticipation.

For some reason, I don't think your revised upload actually took place. When I view the file, it still has the bad final page.

Was this new file uploaded under the same filename as the original?

(There are problems with the "standard" way of uploading a revised version of a file under the same name -- it doesn't take.)

OK, how about now?

(uploaded it again, this time with a different file name - I think it seems to have worked)

It appears to have worked - no signs of borking (or whatever forms of destruction that entails, which might be wrought by a Swedish chef).

I can't confirm whether the previous update had worked, without restoring the file which Carolus has efficiently destroyed :)

I'm awaiting a nice relaxing uninterrupted afternoon to sit down, surrounded by different scores of the Schubert, to see whether a cello part will naturally suggest itself :)
