Posting an arrangement for a composition which is not on the composers page

I have made an arrangement of Ave Maria of the Composer Giulio Caccini. Caccini has a composer page (https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Caccini%2C_Giulio). The Ave Maria is not on this page as nobody has yet published it on IMSLP. Normally, if I want to publish an arrangement I go to the page with the original music and add it there. How can I publish my arrangement if - as in this case - there is no original music page? I cannot create the original music page as I don't have the original music.

You can still create a page for the original work by Caccini, even if you don't have sheet music of his original composition. Go to his composer category page and hover over Toolbox, then click Add Work. On the following webpage, fill in all the information you know about the composition, then add your arrangement as usual; there doesn't need to be a scan of the original composition for you to do this.

Thank you - Melodia - very much for the hint regarding the composer of this melody. If it is really from Vavilov and only composed in 1970 (what I now assume) then I cannot publish the arrangement, of course.

Nevertheless thank you - ScoreUpdater - anyway for the tip regarding publishing an arrangement of a composition which is not yet on the compsers page. This will be useful for me in other cases, and hopefully also for others.

In this case, you are allowed to upload your arrangement of Vavilov's Ave Maria onto Ave Maria (Caccini, Giulio) as Vavilov died in 1973 and so his music is in the public domain in Taiwan, where IMSLP has recently launched a server (Petrucci Music Library Asia)! You will need to follow the instructions at PML-Asia upload instructions.
