University Music Editions?

Post by coulonnus »

At present we have 1280 results for a Google search with "scanned by University Music Editions" site:imslp.org and 1010 results with "scanned by UME" site:imslp.org. Should'nt this be standardized? Shouldn't we create a template so that users interested by this source can rapidly find all scores in a category?

UME is far preferable - especially when Peachnote's viewer starts appearing on things. It's a defunct company, completely absorbed by Alexander Street Press years ago. They basically produced microfiche of the various complete works, and series like DTO.

Then I can make the change in 1 or 2 pages, but not in more than 1000 ones! Can an Admin design a script that searches the inappropriate string in all imslp files and makes the change?

I've just been fixing them as I run into them. Most were added before the viewer cam into play, and for a few it doesn't interfere.
