Mirroring IMSLP-US on other US-based servers

Post by jdeperi »

It would be safest if we could mirror -- or at least backup -- the IMSLP-US server on other US servers.

Would any of you be interested in fulfilling this role?

I currently manage several websites/mirrors/backups/test environments for popular sheet music websites: 7 for the CPDL wiki, 3 for the CPDL forums, 2 for the IMSLP forums, 2 for IMSLP-EU, and 2 for WIMA. They are geographically distributed over 3 different locations (2 in US - Texas and Utah - and 1 in EU - Netherlands) for disaster recovery purposes. I've automated all backup/mirroring processes, and 2 independent monitoring systems automatically inform me if any problems occur. I'm ready to add a further item to the architecture if required.
