Carolus,
I just checked everynote.com, and my name doesn't come up on the composer list -- so that's good. Not a very good site, anyway -- at least browsing-wise...
The fax function on my computer at home seems not to work -- at least the function that is supposed to "print" a document as a fax from within an application (e.g., Adobe), so I'll have to find a fax machine at a store downtown today.

Re: IMSLP copyrighted scores being sold on eBay
Hello
A little comment from a pirate:
Sharing of copyrighted material in a non-profit way should be legalized.
Non-profit sharing is one thing, selling other peoples work without their
permission is something completely different.
The activity in Melbourne is obviously for profit - and even the Pirate
Parties think that such activity should remain illegal during protection
terms of reasonable (!) length e.g. as in the patent legislation.
What you get for free - you should give for free .....
Regards
Odin

Re: IMSLP copyrighted scores being sold on eBay
Glad to read the perspective of the Pirate Party, which seems quite reasonable - despite the accusations made by some of its detractors. This is also the purpose of placing items under the non-commercial and share-alike Creative Commons Licenses, to prevent items distributed free from being duplicated and sold. As I stated earlier, the Ebay seller is perfectly entitled to burn DVDs of public domain scores and sell them. He is also most likely entitled to burn a separate CD or DVD with the Creative Commons items and distribute it as a free bonus to the items he sells.

Re: IMSLP copyrighted scores being sold on eBay
Good news! The Ebay seller hellominor has contacted me, apologized and promised to remove all CC works from the CDs and DVDs he is selling. His items should be all replaced in the next two weeks. This affair has served as a good reminder for all composers, arrangers and editors who post here to think about what limitations you wish to apply to the items you post at IMSLP.

Re: IMSLP copyrighted scores being sold on eBay
I received an e-mail notice from eBay yesterday afternoon that they were going to remove the 7 listings that I reported.
