Hi everyone.
Musical America is reporting that a very important discovery has been made in Dresden of a Vivaldi concerto. However, the article is password protected, and I can't find any references in the German or Italian media about it or on the web. Here's a link to the mention: https://www.musicalamerica.com/news/
Does anyone know the scoop on this story?
Thanks!!

You probably mean Dresden. Have a look at http://www.qucosa.de/fileadmin/data/quc ... Talbot.pdf (in german).

Yes....sorry about that. I constantly get Dresden and Leipzig confused!
Thanks for finding this article for me.

The two Violin concertos they talk about are
the Violin Concerto in D Major RV 206:

and
the Violin Concerto in D minor RV 241:

It doesn't seem that the two articles are talking about the same music. The Musical America article, written by Carlo Vitali, mentions a concerto in A major, an outright discovery. The German article, by Michael Talbot, discusses two concertos in D major and D minor, both of which, if my cursory reading of the German is accurate, already exist in various forms.

You are right. May be there is a new discovered concerto in A major: http://www.codexflores.ch/nachrichten_ind2.php?art=9213.
