How to download all midi files

How many MIDI files are there in IMSLP? Is there an easy way to download them all or do I have to make a custom crawler?

Any help is appreciated

It took me about a month to browse manually. I found about 16000 midi files, weighting 255MB.

Sir the reason nobody has responded to your post to help is because this sort of request would be in the area of leeching off the site's servers, which is something we don't support at all. I commend your efforts in downloading that many files (hopefully you don't have a data limit) but you don't need to download everything on here, do you?

Even the largest of MIDIs are pretty tiny files. I don't think anyone would need to worry about data limits with even 16,000 of them.
