When uploading scores or recordings such that IMSLP cannot automatically detect the filesize and/or #pages from the files (e.g. mp4 audio, or IMSLP-US or IMSLP-Asia-only files such that the only score that IMSLP sees is the 1-page blocking file) please (this is not me as an administrator- I have no idea if any other admin agrees with me about this) add the missing info manually: e.g.: |Page Count 1=number of pages
(I no longer remember offhand what the others are-- Audio Length 1=?, Audio Length 2=... )
... this line in the upload file box is now usually redundant and added automatically, but occasionally the software gets it quite wrong, giving a ? pp. or some other mistaken number - if you see it's wrong after uploading a file, please consider fixing it as part of due diligence?

Re: a request
Yes, this is a good idea. Usually, uploaded scores in PDF form do not have this problem, even if uploaded to IMSLP-US. However, audio files will need the following code to be added:
However, if the system correctly detects the page count or audio length, do not include this line as it is redundant.
Code: Select all
|Audio Length 1=mm:ss
|Audio Length 2=mm:ss

Yes, you're right about IMSLP-US. Hopefully IMSLP-Taiwan will just need some tweaking before this feature gets back on track as well.
Re: a request
Please don't waste time entering values manually. This is a temporary technical problem and will be fixed on the server end.

Ah, audio length is now automatically generated for mp4 files. I was unaware of this.
