Unusual wait time for approval

I have an arrangement that was submitted on October 9th and is still awaiting approval. Why is it taking so long? That is significantly longer than the promised two days.

Same here. I have two new editions and two recordings I submitted over a week ago (one was almost two weeks ago) and they are still awaiting approval.

Just a few years ago one could expect maybe a maximum of 10 uploads a day. On October 30, 2026 there were 50 scores uploaded. I'm writing this on November 1 at 3 PM (UTC -5) and already there are 80 scores uploaded and the day is far from over. Admins have to check for copyright and check (and emend if necessary) what the uploader has written. There are a finite number of people who can ok the material that is uploaded so you just have to be patient and rid yourself of expectations that your upload will be ok'ed ahead of the 50 other uploads for that day (not to mention the approximately 50 or more scores that are uploaded every day).

Why not change the message that says people can expect two days for the review period, kosboot? It could be changed to something that the copyright review team thinks is realistic.

I'm not an admin or anything beyond a contributor. I've waited 2 months for some uploads to be ok'ed. (In one case I waited 10 months before asking - then a problem was revealed to me which I corrected.)

It doesn't appear to me that anyone is approving anything right now on this site. It's also very disappointing that no administrator has bothered explaining the delay. Every contributor pays for the right to upload; some explanation should be forthcoming. I have been a contributor for 10 years and this is totally unusual and very, very frustrating. With 2300 uploads waiting approval, there is little hope that the administration of the site will ever get back to the normal two days that I and thousands of others have been used to for over a decade.

The lack of any official response as to what is causing this delay is the most frustrating thing about it. It's like everyone who does the approvals and the ones who can speak on their behalf have all decided to go on a long vacation all at the same time.
