Change payment method

Every year, I contribute money to IMSLP. I have always used Paypal to transfer my contribution. Now I want to terminate my Paypal account, but is there a way to see which payment method is in use for IMSLP?

I also contribute, but instead of going through PayPal's system, I select credit card instead. You don't need a PayPal account for that.

You can log into Paypal go to Manage Automatic Payments under Payments in Settings, and find IMSLP to confirm it’s linked and see the funding source.

Yes, I understand. I have done this, but now I want to terminate my PayPal account and completely end all relations to and payments via PayPal (because I don't want any connection with Elon Musk), and change my contribution to IMSLP to my credit card. But that doesn't work!
Nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?
