Tables with Multiple Pages

I am in the process of updating a very long list on my user page, and I am wondering if there is a template to create a sortable table with multiple pages, similar to the auto-generated tables which are created for plate numbers on the publisher pages. If not, are there otherwise any guidelines or recommendations for what to do with extra-long tables?

Thanks in advance.

Hi!
First you need the basic structure, something like this (from my userpage):
{| class="wikitable sortable" style="font-size:95%; width: 98%; vertical-align: top; border: 1px solid #AAA"
! width="15%"|Composer
! width="10%"|Total works uploaded
! width="10%"|Works uploaded by others
! width="10%"|Works uploaded by me
! width="10%"|Total works
! width="20%"|Notes

You can modify the values after the ":" and after the "|"
Also, you can add more categories simply by pasting "! width="20%"|example" under the others and also change the size and name of the category

Then, depending on how many categories do you want to add, you need to use this for every element:
|-
| || || || || ||
(If you add more categories then yo need to add a new pair of "|". Remember that the text goes after the spaces)

As a example of what can you add using my sortable list:
|-
| {{Cat|Wallerstein, Anton}} || 23 || 2 || 21 || 275 ca. || The number of pieces is an approximate

Then you close the table with:
|}

Hopefully it helps you!
