Adobe Flash

I just saw flash on Brahms' page. Why not use open standards like in Wikipedia? HTML5, I mean.

Where? Can you provide a link? To my knowledge, we use no Flash content on the wiki.

That is simply an opensource player that reads the uploaded files, which are not Flash. All works pages which have associated audio use this embedded player.

Hm, but the player is embeded as Flash. Right-click on it.

Oh, wait, the files are mp3, avi. . . nevermind.

It's just that I love Wikipedia's "only open standards and open software only policy".

Great site, though. Without equal in The Web.

If Flash is detected, it will render in Flash, if not it defaults to the aforementioned player.
