A student of mine came across a reference to an Eb clarinet sonata by Antony Garlic, published by Seesaw Music Corp., which seems to be out of business now.

This is almost certainly still under copyright, he just wants to see if he can buy it anywhere.

Does anyone know of Seesaw Music Corporation, and whether anyone bought it out?

The Seesaw catalog now belongs to Subito Music Corporation, located in Verona, New Jersey. The clarinet sonata is listed on their site (#50012120), and the price is $21.00.
Please note that the composer's name is spelled "Garlick"...

Ha, that's probably why I couldn't find it, but it was spelled Garlic in Jack Brymer's book Clarinet. Thanks for the info!
