Would it be possible to allow uploading 30 sec clips of peices. If I am not mistaken from back in high school non profit organizations such as school can use 30 sec clips of copyrighted material legally. I suggest OGG format to keep size down. Furthermore many college orchestras allow free use of their performances so they could be used if available for some pieces.
Just an idea for the great site you have.
This site is amazing to use as a resource to learn to compose better especially without having gone to a music school.

The problem is that IMSLP is not yet incorporated (i.e. not officially an organization). The incorporation process in Canada is fairly expensive (the raw processing fees total around $400), and the paperwork is quite a mountain (especially all the guidelines you have to read). And so, I'll probably incorporate IMSLP a little down the road, when it's bigger and I have more time than I have right now (hopefully)...
