Why don't my audio files upload?

I can upload scores in pdf format, but have constant trouble uploading synthesized audio renditions of the pieces. Apparently, clicking on "Add Recording" doesn't work.

(Also, what do the green N! entries mean/refer to?)

Are you uploading MP3's, OGGs or FLACs? We don't accept all audio formats. You are using the "Add File" button on the work page, right?

Thanks for responding. I'm trying to upload mp3's. And yes, I am using the "Add File" button on the work page. I don't want to use MIDI - it leaves the actual sound (which I so assiduously and time-consumingly perfect) to whatever system the listener owns, and can't be played on a sound system that doesn't use MIDI (the vast majority of the human race today!). I can, of course. upload wav's - do you accept those?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "doesn't work"? What do you see? Any error messages?

In my case "doesn't work" has meant no error message, just absolute silence - nothing appears on the work page, not even the tab "Synthesized/MIDI". Let me review:
The mp3 files I uploaded along with the first two pieces whose pdf scores I uploaded to my work page:- "Toccata" and "That Day At The Beach", did eventually appear, under the separate tab "Synthesized/Midi". I uploaded a third pdf score "Episodes", accepted on March 25, 2013, along with an mp3 synthesized rendition, again using the "Recording" tab and "Synhtesized..." for the latter. So far it has not appeared. As to the fourth score I first tried to upload about two weeks ago - "Those Irreplaceable Days" - neither the pdf nor the mp3 file have appeared, just the title of the work. No error message as far as I can see.

Would be helpful if I emailed these files to you?

What is the total file size? There is currently a file size limit of 150MB per submission (i.e. the size of all files added together per submission); uploading anything more than that will get a blank page. (If it is that large I doubt e-mail will work either.)
