Is there any place on IMSLP for info not connected to a specific piece? I was hoping to be able to upload the transcripts of a few interviews and articles.

You could create a page called 'Articles and Interviews'. We do have a few books which have been written by various composers.

Just create a regular work-page, then add the following extra field into the General Information section in the edit window: |Page Type=Collection

Problem uploading articles

These are Word files. When I try to upload I get the message:
File #1: Error: Bad file title or disallowed file type.
(Same msg for all the files)

Word documents cannot be uploaded - I'd suggest converting them to PDF instead, and if you really want the .doc available then you could zip it and upload along with the PDF.
