Strange notation in Rossini - William Tell Overture arranged for 4 Trombones (Sousa). See, the note heads are invisible. I have not seen a published score such as this before. It is new notation or a mistake? Please can it be explained or corrected. Are there others similar in IMSLP by the same transcriber or others? Thanks.

This is a browser problem. If you download the score (with right mouse click) and open it on your computer, there will by no problems anymore.
