Present "Bischoff edition" of WTC

I think that it should be noted under the entry that this is a re-engraving of the original with the preface editorial comments relegated to the back of the book instead as footnotes at the bottom of each page. Having the various versions and readings directly under the music was one of the best features of the original edition.
The far superior original Bischoff edition should be included at IMSPL either in the German or English translation as published by Kalmus. But it should be the old engraving not the new one now published by Kalmus. This new Kalmus printing, like the Polish version, spreads the music over too many pages. Most of the Preludes and Fugues should appear complete on facing pages to avoid page turns.
