Can somebody tell me please what the following means in English?

compuesta por Henri Herz

Is it composed by Henri Herz or dedicated to Henri Herz?

Thanks in advance
choul

It means 'composed by' (from the verb componer) - 'dedicated to' would most likely be simply written as 'a'.

Google also has a pretty descent translator for free. I've used it several times with good results.
Just google: google translate. It has many different languages to choose from.

I really do not think it is "pretty" decent; not for every language.

Also try http://www.bing.com/translator/ And see if it coincides with Google!

I typed in both the phrase "esto es una mensaje de teste, para testar este tradutor que me sugeriran en lo IMSLP" (this is a test message, in order to test this translator that they suggested me on IMSLP): Google returned "this is a test message to test this tradutor you suggest me what IMSLP", while Bing provided "This is a message from test to test this translator that I sugeriran in the IMSLP". 0/0 until this moment.

Change sugeriran into sugirieron and try again! At least we've learnt that in English in order to can be changed into to without trouble! :-)

For "esto es una mensaje de teste, para testar este tradutor que me sugirieron en lo IMSLP", Google gives "this is a teste message, to test this tradutor that suggested me in IMSLP", and Bing "this is a message from test to test this translator that I suggested in the IMSLP"; now Google wins with 1/2 vs 0.

Is the Spanish perfect? Google Search has used us to servers that are tolerant to mistakes :-)
Perhaps translators don't have such abilities!

OK, I apologize; I'm not a native Spanish-speaker. I am from Brazil, and my "Spanish" is what we call "Portunhol": hybrid of Portuguese ("portuguez") with Spanish ("hespanhol"); also is a big temptation to use Italian forms in Spanish.

Then try to translate in the reverse direction, correct the Spanish result if necessary and come back to English!

But only Google has -- though precariously -- the universal language: Latin.
