I've been listening to a recording of an unidentified pianist playing Soler sonata no. 7, R47, and he repeats both bars 36 and 37 and bars 72 and 73, each of which only appear once in the manuscript I possess (Henle Music Folios, edited by Frederick Marvin).
To my (mainly Scarlatti-listening) ears this repetition seems perfectly appropriate, but I'm wondering if anyone with knowledge of the original scores could say whether this repetition is authoritative?
With thanks,

A recording by an unnamed pianist? Any more info?
Re: Antonio Soler Sonata 7, R47: extra bars?
Actually I've now found recordings by two different pianist where the same bars are played twice, the second being André Gorog in a recording for BNL Productions (the sonata being listed as SR103 as opposed to R47, suggesting a different cataloguer has also seen a manuscript with the bars doubled?)
Harpsichordists such as Virginia Black and Gilbert Rowland do not double these bars. But this is a question about whether there's an authoritative source for this doubling rather than one about the players.
