Mendelssohn: Symphony No2 Lobesgesang streamed live from the Vatican via the Gewandhaus Orchestra website. Chailly conducting. Considering the venue I guess Mendelssohn's Sym 5, a stronger piece, would be inappropriate.

Right now I’m listening to a new disk that recently found at onyxclassics site, its Beethoven’s works performed by Maxim Rysanov, Kristina Blaumane and Jacob Katsnelson. This music is amazing!

Wow. That's quite a change from the prevalent genres in this thread...

Carmina Burana - selected original songs, not the Version of Carl Orff.

Its an attempt of reconstruction with historical instruments and very interesting to compare with Orff (he acquited).

Listening to Holst's "Planets"...enjoying it!!
The first track "Mars, the bringer of War" has been considered the "most ferocious piece of music of all time" ..that's right!

Right now I’m listening to “Incantatio for viola and piano”, by Richard Dubugnon from the disk I’ve recently found at eclassical site. The record calls “Pavane” and is performed by Maxim Rysanov and Ashley Wass compositions of Claude Debussy, Richard Dubugnon, Gabriel Faure and Maurice Ravel. The music is wonderful! I love it!

Bruckner Sym 8, Kolner Rundfunk Sym Orch conducted by Otto Klemperer. Mono recording from the 50's that happened to be playing online at Catmusica.cat, the online classical station of Catalunya Radio and one of the better national-network classical stations.
