So I'm looking to play some clarinet music to get back my 'chops' after not playing for some years. I don't need anything by Mozart, Weber, Saint-Saens, Debussy, or Brahms (ie, the majors), and definetly not Spohr or Crusell....but any other suggestions would be appreciated, if I can DL the scores anyway.

My list isn't comprehensive, because I never put anything on it that my university library already has, but here's what you can download from IMSLP:

Anything that has an idiomatic solo clarinet part, really. But I didn't want a comprehensive list, more of a recommendation (the former can be found on the instrument page, though I'm sure it's not everything -- the Weber transcription isn't for instance)

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov: Concertstuck for Clarinet and Military Band (beautiful piece!)
Gerald Finzi: Five Bagatelles for Clarinet and Piano
Arnold Bax: Clarinet Sonata in D major
Leonard Bernstein: Clarinet Sonata
Gaetano Donizetti: Clarinet Concertino

Oh, forgot that Bax wrote one. I might check it out, though he's hit or miss for me.
Bernstein was one that first came to mind, but of course he's many many years from being PD. Finzi's piece I believe is past the US PD date so isn't on IMSLP either./
The Rimsky doesn't have an indivudual part on IMSLP, alas, or I'd certain do that (I do love the piece too)

How about Busoni's Clarinet Concertino, or Prokofiev's Overture on Hebrew Themes? I also love Hindemith's Clarinet Sonata, but it is non PD.

What's wrong with just buying the piece?

Anyways, the Rimsky-Korsakov is gem; too bad it is extremely underplayed. What about that gorgeous slow movement?
I just performed it in a studio class. It still sounds great even with piano.

Well not everyone can just toss off money into every little thing. Unless I were to get serious about playing a certain piece -- which I'm not at the moment -- why would I?
